i have no intentions but i’m giving my guestbook supplier the hardest time. change in colors/motif, change in cover page and cover pic. it felt like i’ve asked her to start from scratch. i didn’t mean to. but i’ve seen her work and i know she can do exactly what i had in mind. but then, i’m having second thoughts, kinda have this nagging feeling that her first draft was the best for the pictures i’ve given her.

u-oh! i pray that she’s even-tempered.

Ok, aside from party preps, I am also busy looking for other job opportunities. It seems to me that an online college degree would help in pursuing my dream job.

i’ve been wanting to go to Divi for months now.

original plan was to check the goods there first before deciding on what Mikee’s party theme is. but i stumbled on a very cute theme (backdrop, cake and invitations will have the baby disney princess theme. giveaway backpacks will just have a castle design)

finally, we went to Divi last Friday.

i was planning on buying disney princess and shrek (ksama nmn fairytale princesses sa shrek 3).
anyway, sad to say, monopoly lng ng shrek ang nakita ko which i didn’t buy. so ang nangyari, disney princess for girls, spiderman/superman toys for the boys.

for the lootbag:

prizes, madami pero ndi ko na sinunod sa theme. but got some prizes din na disney princess.

advice ko lang sa mga planong themed pa din ang prizes and lootbag contents (na pwede s boys and girls), ang madami dun: mickey and friends, dora the explorer, winnie the pooh, spongebob.

may nakita din nmn akong carebears kaso ndi gnun kadami. madami ding barbie, disney princess, and disney cars, pero prang gender-specific na mga toys.

but it all boils down to kids always loving toys. no matter if it’s coordinated with the theme or not.

it was a funfilled weekend.
we went to avilon zoo last saturday, with our friends (Mikee’s ninong and ninangs). we hired a tour guide so we won’t miss any spot. it was fun and very informative. but i wouldn’t trust the tour guide so much. she said that ‘roadrunner’ is an ostrich. we’re not experts, but we’re not ignorant either. teehee.

we took a lot of pictures (hay ang barkadahang addict sa pictures — i finally found where i belong hahaha). some were Mikee sitting in a little pony, hubby with an owl on his shoulders (i got the same shot) and the barkada holding an albino python, which Mikee found to be fun-to-pinch.

i took a video of my hubby feeding the arapaimas, which are a type of arwana and seemed like never been fed for a month. i was imagining myself slipping to their pond and my legs being devoured (waah, sadista?)

it was a hot afternoon. everybody was feeling a little sticky, someone suggested we take a swim after the zoo. but tired that we were, we opted to just eat steak at snackaroo.
we decided to just take a swim on the following day.

oh no, the boys needed board shorts! so off we went to gateway to visit speedo. hmmm, tired huh?
hubby bought a nice board shorts, a two-piece swimsuit for Mikee which is color coordinated with my swimsuit (no need to buy a new one) and board shorts for me too!
i also went to get Mikee’s studio pics from blowupbabies at gateway.

we also went to visit hubby’s brother who works as pizza hut branch manager. we waited for him since his shift was almost over.
he was hungry, we went to world topps (commonwealth) which is closed by the way. we ended up in grilla.
it was a tiring day.

sunday early morning, we went to club manila east for a swim. they have a kiddie pool (so big i think i could hold a party there hahaha).
and they also have a wave beach. Mikee was afraid everytime that there’s wave.
but waves are turned off for about ten minutes. that’s the time Mikee would crawl on the pool. (feeling nya nasa bed sya)

i got a text message from my mom inviting us to have dinner at trinoma.
hmm, not a bad idea. we haven’t checked the new mall.
so when we got home, we just relaxed a bit and freshen up and strut our golden skin at the trinoma.

we had our dinner at crustacia, which was yummy.
they said they had slow service. we didn’t notice ‘coz when we got there, my family was halfway their dinner.

wow! it was indeed a funfilled weekend. family, friends, sun and fun.
and yes today is a very hectic workday in the office.
thank God for all these blessings.

it’s a busy busy workday today. but likely to be busier on Monday. sobrang nalilito na ko sa dami ng processings today. 8)

obviously, i’ve turned down the other job offer and sticking it here with my current employer.  in fact, i’ll be joining a team outing this June (which i don’t usually do). la lang, para maiba nmn.

yesterday, i went to Powerbooks for the gift registry for Mikee’s birthday. then they asked me for her birth certificate, which i didn’t bring teehee. guess i’ll just do that Monday next week. what i only brought was my list of 30 books i’d like to read to Mikee. but i’m sure not all of my guests would go to Powerbooks to buy a gift. Hmm, pwede din kaya magparegister sa Toy Kingdom or Gingersnaps? i’ll give it a try.

i was planning to go to Divi this morning (for lootbag contents and prizes) but mom discouraged me saying i shouldn’t go there alone. she even offered to come with me on the 9th. who could resist? an extra hand is more than welcomed.
