Last Sunday night, we met up with hubby’s friends for pizza and beer. But there was no beer, we didn’t know there’s a liquor ban (for the election today). Anyway, as usual, we ordered for pizza. But after pizza, the guys wanted to go out for something. Anything, just get out.
Hubby: ano nmn gagawin natin sa mcdo?
GF1: kakain.
Hubby: di pa ba kayo busog sa pizza?
GF2: tama, isa lang ang oorder. then the rest, tambay lang. parang high school.
GF1′s hubby: eastwood na lang.
GF1: kasya ba tayo sa car?
Hubby: oo nmn. 5 tayo, kasya yan.
GF2: ayaw mo nun? parang high school, siksikan sa car.
GF1′s hubby: eh pagdating ni GF3?
GF1: kailangan natin magdala pa ng isang car.
Hubby: nasa dulo na naka-park yung car namin. Car ni mama yung nasa bungad.
GF2: itakas mo yung car ng nanay mo, parang high school.
yesterday, I went to our Makati office to meet up with my former manager. this was for my PPR discussion. Since miss na miss na ako ng mga former officemates ko, we went out for dinner.
O sige na nga, i miss them too.
One year ko sila kasama. i felt really comfy around them. so comfy i could crack green jokes infront of them. bad! they’re all still single
And Mai, oh Mai! I still consult her on most of my career moves.
And Kat…Kat is like a little sister (who btw is of the same age as my little brother) na super kasundo ko.
At ang kabaliwan ni April at ni Kaye, aaaaw! Kakamiss. 
Pansin ko masayahin na talaga si Kaye noh? Dapat pala laging nagpupunta ng Canada at US para laging masaya eh.
Sayang, Amber wasn’t around (uchi de shigoto shimashita…bye ketai denwa, sorry to hear about that…di bale, bili atarashii no?) teka, si Mai ang hapon ah!
And the two boys, Gabs and Ivan, weren’t around too (aba! work from home? sarap buhay!)
We had fun, didn’t we? we’ll do this more often then? ;)

it’s been frustrating for me to take pictures of BG smiling. she has a habit of moving around while laughing. so in the end i got shots with “ghost” lighting surrounding her.

i received a text message from my brother informing me that his gf together with her officemates went out for lunch and had witnessed a bombing at the glorietta.
so hubby and i turned on the tv to watch the news. and yes, it’s true. after a while, my mom called me. she knows that i often take my lunch breaks there. but i reminded her that i have transferred to our ortigas office. and it’s friday, i’m working from home today.
i understand my mom getting worried. as a mother i got scared too. so malls are not safe after all. i’m afraid BG has to miss trick-or-treat this halloween at the malls. (well, at least we’re still pushing with trick-or-treat at the office) …come to think of it, even MRT and LRT are no longer safe.
and the victims. 8 were killed. 
how heartless. 
i must have posted my wishlist too early, as early as now, someone’s asking me “how about your wishlist for BG?”
hmm, that wishlist was initially for a christmas party. just hitting two birds with one stone, that’s why i listed some for relatives and friends…(as for the party, i thought there will be a separate exchange gifts for kids. hence, all i listed was my wishlist)

btw, she’s 15 months old, but she wears clothes suited for a 2-year-old alright! 
i had dinner with my sister last night. we had to meet so she can give me back my wedding ring asap. i left it last weekend at my parents’. i’m not comfortable not wearing the ring.
the ring is my guy-repellant. (Edited: hubby reacted. read my comment on this post) in the same manner, i hide it when i had to. i do not take it off, i just hide.
i remember one time when i was still with my previous team, the floor had new occupants. other teams that came from another department. people who had no idea that i am married and a mom. with the new occupants (who i noticed were very territorial), my pedestal was moved.
i never labeled my pedestal, i just put it in one place and it never gets moved out from there, so i always knew where to find it.
that one particular day, i needed something from my pedestal. and as i approached the area where it used to park, the guys swarmed in. and i just said, “no, i was just looking for my pedestal here. it has no label.”
and the guys hurriedly looked for it (hey, i’m not holding a contest. the first one to find it won’t win a prize you know). times like this, hiding the ring did the trick.
