i received a text message from my brother informing me that his gf together with her officemates went out for lunch and had witnessed a bombing at the glorietta.

so hubby and i turned on the tv to watch the news. and yes, it’s true. after a while, my mom called me. she knows that i often take my lunch breaks there. but i reminded her that i have transferred to our ortigas office. and it’s friday, i’m working from home today.

i understand my mom getting worried. as a mother i got scared too. so malls are not safe after all. i’m afraid Mikee has to miss trick-or-treat this halloween at the malls. (well, at least we’re still pushing with trick-or-treat at the office) …come to think of it, even MRT and LRT are no longer safe.

and the victims. 8 were killed.

how heartless.

i must have posted my wishlist too early, as early as now, someone’s asking me “how about your wishlist for Mikee?”

hmm, that wishlist was initially for a christmas party. just hitting two birds with one stone, that’s why i listed some for relatives and friends…(as for the party, i thought there will be a separate exchange gifts for kids. hence, all i listed was my wishlist)

ok, wishlist for Mikee:

• dress - let’s be inclined towards the pastel and floral ones. a dress for sunday mass, or kiddie parties. a dress, fabric of which, matches my scrap papers, yipee! btw, she’s 15 months old, but she wears clothes suited for a 2-year-old
• books with big pictures/words - no more plush toys for Mikee. she’s apparently more interested in tv commercials than any stuffed dolls. pero pero pero she likes it when i read books to her. yun lang, gusto ilipat agad ang page. mainipin. hehe.
• anything that makes sounds. anything that would make her dance or sing. she’s into it.
