Bundle Christmas Party
yesterday, our bundle had our Christmas Party at the Greenmeadows Clubhouse. i was dead tired! we had to decorate the place in just 3 hours. one officemate was (practically) huffing while pumping for the balloons, and he’s also the one who tied the strings (of the hanging balloons) from one post to another. so i understand his frustrations when someone tore one down. “naku naman ____ pinaghirapan namin yun!” 
but came 6pm, the place looked, er, well, ready for a great party. 
people started coming in on their Disney costumes. we had the different teams in: Cinderella, Mulan, Aladdin, Beauty and the beast, Snow white, and Little Mermaid.
oh our team? we were the 101 dalmatians, with the boss as Cruella Deville.
we had several gimmicks that night, but the most successful of which was the fund-raising! this is where you will pledge a certain amount of money then once you reach an amount, there’s an equivalent performance from the (mostly management) people. for example, if we reach 50,000 pesos, one manager will sing the Mulan song. The highest of which was 120,000 pesos where the Country Manager’s live performance is at stake.
we were expecting a success of 50,000 pesos. so we were jumping in so much joy that before i left (yes i left early at 12mn, told you i was so tired), we have reached the total pledges worth 136,000++ pesos !!! that means the country manager will indeed render a song on the next coffeetalk. 
edited: i was informed that the pledges had reached P175,555++ when the party ended. cool.
it was indeed a “generosity-themed” party!
btw, the Clear-Men guy had the privilege to have his picture taken with me and Apol. (hahaha, di ba baliktad?) he was really shy, then he was told “ano ba. may asawa’t anak na yang mga yan, wag ka mahiya.”
