Moving On

Our friends used to tease each other with “tananananan…” in the tune of Love Story (”Where do i begin?”) when one has just said something melodramatic or sentimental.

recently, I was able to watch Casper (again) over cable. and I actually liked one line from the movie.

“I don’t have any unfinished business. Please don’t let me be yours.”

Tananananan…

5 Things I Want My Kids To Know

… Before They Grow Up.

Thanks to my new online pal, Vanessa for this.

It said I should write down top 5 things I want my child to know before she grows up. Basically, top 5 values I should impart to make her a better person.

Mikee, I want you to know that:

1. Your father and I will support you all the way. So go ahead, find your passion.

2. Life is fun. Enjoy it. But don’t forget the rules.

3. Your lovelife/career is just one aspect of your life. <– advanced masyado ;) With that being said, Sundays are for church and for family.

4. Happiness is a choice. “Don’t carry a grudge. While you were carrying the grudge, the guy was out dancing.”

5. “Contentment is not the fulfilment of what you want, it is the realization of how much you already have. “<– my favorite

I’m tagging Alpha, Apols, Jane, Mich and Tricia.
