i miss dancing

Unlike most Pinoys, I’m bad at singing. I can carry a tune alright, but it’s the quality of voice that I don’t trust. I remember when I was pregnant with Mikee, I held on to the Magic Sing as if it was my best friend, singing and dancing to the tune of Chiquitita or Ben. People at home had no choice but to bear with me. I was pregnant you know. ;)

Last week, on the way to the office, we were listening to the radio. A song made me swing my body a bit to the left and to the right. Of course, it isn’t much. There’s just much movement you can do inside a car. And I don’t want people inside an FX or Jeepney (or any vehicle where people not sitting upfront) think that heavy traffic could have as big damage as lunacy.

But it made me realized that I miss dancing. I miss how I catch my breath every after number. Plus the exhilaration I get after performing well. Wait a minute, I get that from another hobby too. <wink><wink> Badminton.

Hey, what were you thinking?
