getting real
There’s this guy in our office who, while working, sings ala Mariah Carey, with the piping and all. But still, he insists that he’s not gay. He dresses too well. Yet, he claims he has a long-time girlfriend (who has never met anyone in the office). I don’t know, but I’m not buying it.
Why do people pretend to be someone they are not? Are they not happy with what they are?
I’m telling you, every single person has something in him/her that another person would find disgusting or simply unappealing in one way or another.
So just get real.

I think he’s afraid to come out. Maraming ganyan, Thea. Kasi naman sa ating mga Pinoy talaga, admit it or not, marami pa ring prejudiced na mga tao. We often say that we will accept a person even if he’s gay but deep down we’re thinking na sayang siya sana naging straight na lang. Lalo na kung ang office is composed of older people. Or yung mga conservative.
But I know time will come we will all be truly open to everything. Probably five, ten years from now

Hi She. Yeah probably afraid pa sya. Pero di ba people tend to make fun of those who are in denial pa behind their backs? kasi there’s this gay guy din on the same dept. He is well respected nmn.
Oh well, baka din kasi sa sarili nya mismo ndi pa nya alam.
Yup, 5-10 years, ok na mga Pinoys. accepted na. Lakas din ng influence ng media/cyber eh.
