Not feeling well. The gall stones are angry, still. I didn’t noticed I was eating too much of the food no-no’s. I was busy chatting with my college friends at Gloria Jeans (while working that’s why we chose to meet there for the net connection) and later at Friday’s.

Some of the few things that they told me I didn’t know:

• Basing on my wedding, friendster, blogs and albums, they thought I’m a very organized person. My hubby will for sure disagree.
• I have a great job. (yeah, I didn’t know)
• I looked and sounded like a crazy woman during my lowest point.
• They were all happy that I didn’t end up with my ex.

Sweet, who was in town with her hubby,  shared how it is to live in Australia. And how she adjusted with the way they talk. At work, she used to ask them to write her an email instead everytime. They all thought she just wanted it documented. But the reason was, she can’t understand what they were saying over the phone.

Claire, who was with her 5-yr-old son (who they think had a crush on me hahaha), shared her life as a wife to a career-committed guy. And how she rarely sees him. Her son is so cute and friendly. He has befriended the crew of Gloria Jeans and Friday’s. He’s too gwapo, I was worried he’d be kidnapped. Claire, btw, still looks the same, you’ll never think she has two kids.

Jewel, I think, has changed so much. The way she sees and handles life. It used to be that I see her as a daddy’s girl but now she was talking about her two daughters and how different they are. She has definitely matured so much. It used to be that she’ll bring a car to wherever she goes. Now she thinks of how high the cost of gas, not only did she not bring a car, she gave the taxi driver a big tip (kasi kawawa daw).

Me? Well, I have been conservative now.

We talked about our other friends, Rhej, who is still very happy with her single life in Singapore, and Ionic, who we have never seen for more than a decade now. (Anybody who knows the whereabouts of Ionic Antonio, please leave me a message. )
