I am a working mom. And Mondays to Wednesdays, I go to the office. That means I need to leave BG at home, which almost always drives her to a crying bout. This breaks my heart but I don’t want to sneak behind her back and leave her wondering where mommy is. So each time, I had to kiss her goodbye and tell her that I’ll be going to the office and will be back with daddy tonight. Just one of my many reasons I want to quit my job.

Honestly, I’ve asked hubby if it’s ok if I stop working. He actually agreed but told me he doesn’t believe I can stay unemployed for a long time. He said that knowing me, I’d be feeling like on a house arrest if I get unemployed. Then it got me to think, maybe he’s right. I honestly feel insecure when I don’t have my own money. Anytime that I’ll need money, I can get a cash advance. Haha.

Kidding aside, I think I better start thinking of a good business, so I can quit my job but still have my own money.

I try to stay away from the malls when I don’t intend to buy anything anyway. But this afternoon, I passed by this store and a gorgeous pair of leather strappy sandals is on display. And a matching clutch bag is there too. So I tried the sandals on (even if I don’t intend to buy, nothing wrong with that right?) and then my officemate commented that it makes my feet look lovely. U-oh! And it’s still 10 days before the next payday.

What if I just resort to payday loans? You just have to be employed, 18 years old or older and have an active bank account. Hmm…
