Although I was a bit hesitant to post my preggy pic because I think it looks a bit sleazy, I’m doing this anyway. I tried thinking of a way that this won’t end up in a sleazy site, hence, the text across me. I took it myself using a timer inside our room when I was 5 months pregnant with BG.

What I love about being pregnant?

• I had a very good excuse to be overweight.
• Good excuse to eat anytime I wanted to, even 6x a day.
• I loved that I was spoiled rotten when I was pregnant. Hehe.
• I loved shopping for those ultra cute clothes.
• People thought I used to be sexy, it’s just that I’m pregnant. That’s all.
• Good excuse to be super lazy and sleep all day.
• Love the thought that God has entrusted me another soul.

Tagging the MBAPs.

Just today, BG learned how to blow bubbles. She loves bubbles but she had always asked mommy to blow them for her. Well, I guess it was her first time to try it herself.

Hubby called out for me, and I wondered what the commotion was about. So I sort of run towards our room. (Yes, I’m still working here on the other room, tsk, tsk.) And there I saw BG blowing her bubbles. Instinctively, I grabbed the digicam to record it.

Sigh. How I wish to spend more time with our little girl. Just to blow bubbles with her.
Oh well, got to go look for Hilton Head rentals and then hit the sack.

Lately, I’ve been missing hubby, BG and guess what… our bed.

I was absent on twitter today. I was very busy with work. There were 2 critical issues assigned to me just when I was supposed to take a leave. I’m so stressed, sometimes I want to just take any admin jobs. My sore throat hurts and my back is aching. I can’t just take a leave because I have no back up.

I missed several team meetings for I badly needed full concentration to solve the issues.

Anyway, when I was about to log off after working for 13 hours, I saw an email asking for cheer dancer volunteers. Geez, since surely, nobody wants to, I know people tend to vote for people who were not around during the meeting. U-oh!

Last Saturday, we had our little girl’s birthday celebration at home. No kids, hence, no children’s party. Just a little get-together with friends and relatives.

Today is one hectic day. It is BG’s birthday. We don’t intend to celebrate it today. Instead we’ll have a simple get-together tomorrow. Guess what? We’ve done the shopping only today! Yeah, don’t you just love to cram? Hehehe. BG was crying when she noticed that daddy and mommy were all dressed up while she was still wearing her house clothes. She sensed that she’s not coming with us. I felt guilty. It’s her birthday, why let her cry? So we brought her with us to the grocery store. She loves running around the grocery store. Aside from buying stuff for tomorrow’s party, we canvassed for affortable indoor dog potty.

We bought a simple cake for tonight. We were planning to have a nicer cake for tomorrow but we were told that should have been pre-ordered 3 days ago. Boo!

Anyway, I’m still working at this hour while everybody’s busy at the kitchen. Geez, I can feel the pressure. Wish me luck.

Have you heard of the sixteen-year-old girl who was gang-raped by her classmates? It’s all over the news. Test results proved that she was telling the truth. But after few days, the four captured boys were released. I saw their lawyer saying, “There’s no enough evidence.”

Now I wonder how lawyers like him sleep at night. You know it’s true but somehow there’s a loophole in the law somewhere. You just have to know how to use that loophole to win your case. Regardless if the person you’re defending did the deed. Tsk, tsk. Are there lawyers who would accept ONLY the cases of those who are really innocent?

Oh well, who knows? There may be some out there.

Enough of this. I better start my research on mechanics lien law.

I just chatted with one friend who is working abroad. I heard her love life is in full bloom. We sort of reminisced the times that after work, we stay in a coffee shop for hours just to talk about trivial things, future plans and dreams. I was single and not dating anybody then. I remember we wanted to tour around Europe specifically France, Italy and Spain. All the others in the itinerary will just be a bonus. We even thought of enrolling for French, Italian or Spanish lessons. We even joked that one of us should date a Spanish guy just for the english to spanish interpreting.

Yeah, those were the days. It’s different now. We still want the same country to settle in. But this time, it’s no longer the shopping or barhopping we have in mind. Instead, good schools, environment safety and better opportunities for our children. After all, it’s all about the family now.

In my opinion, sexiness, like beauty, is a matter of projection. Ever wonder why some women look sexy without showing too much skin or wearing body-hugging clothes? I’d say it’s the projection. Although a sexy lingerie she’s wearing may have helped. No wonder sexy lingerie collections like the Shirley of Hollywood are selling like hotcakes. If you feel sexy inside, it will make you look sexier.

Now you know why they call it a secret.

A friend (and her family) just migrated to North Carolina. There are things they considered before migration according to her. First, if there are available jobs for her and her husband. And from their salaries, they could save and afford to live there with their three-year-old son. They also considered the location of school and day care. As soon as they arrived, they got themselves NC health insurance. Her husband has started work, while she is staying home with their son for now while they are on their three-month adjustment stage.
