BG’s a busy girl
After finding a nice dress I could wear for the wedding of hubby’s best friend, I figured the only other expenses will be a bronze sandals to match the dress, my hair (extenso) treatment and hubby’s suit.
Then yesterday, my sister asked me (through SMS) if we are available on the 24th so we could have BG measured for her gown. BG is one of her flowergirls on her wedding this December. I said yes, but I needed to be back by lunchtime because I’ll be attending a wedding in the afternoon.
Later in the evening, hubby and I were talking about our day. And I told him that my sister is fetching BG for the gown measurements on the 24th. He reminded me about the wedding we are going to attend to. I answered casually that we’d be back by lunchtime. He asked me if we will have enough time to prepare, and wouldn’t BG be too tired by then. I told him that BG wasn’t invited in the wedding and it would be a shame to bring BG if the couple didn’t want to.
He asked me if I have read the invitations. So I checked it, and geez, there it is. “We have reserved 3 seats for you.”
I panicked. I texted our friend Maniya (who accompanied me to buy my dress). She told me not to worry and that there are formal dresses for little girls with BG’s size that would complement my dress. Actually, if you think of it, we will have to buy shoes too. I can’t just let her wear her MBT shoes. Like our dresses, I am hoping to find bronze/gold shoes for BG too. Golly! This will be an adventure. Haha.
