Ok, the title should have been HARD MOVES BK LQ but I know it wouldn’t make sense. I’m posting this because these are the letters that BG can identify randomly. She points out when she sees it on your shirt, on a poster or on our ref (uhm, er, we have letter magnets).

She still:
calls the letter C either “ookie” or “E”
calls the letter W “bb” (or was it “vv”? ‘coz that would make sense to me)
calls the letter X as “I” (now this is weird)

Although sometimes she still mix up some of the letters that she knows. And years ago, I have taught 2 other people on this earth who learned faster than her. Who cares? As long as she enjoys while learning her ABCs. As a mother, my daughter’s happiness is what matters most.

When I noticed that BG enjoyed swimming in Pansol during hubby’s outing, I thought of signing her up for swimming lessons next summer. So I sort of search some infant/toddler swimming over at YouTube. I showed the videos to BG. But after seeing the videos, I think I no longer have the guts to have BG take swimming lessons. I now fear that BG might have nightmares after each lesson.

Enough of toddler swimming, I should be researching about electric blanket now.

We attended a children’s party yesterday. While I was preparing BG for the party, she threw a tantrum. Guess why. She wanted to wear her swimsuit to the party! Golly, I believe in giving your kids the freedom of choice but today, I had no choice but to insist on her to wear her blouse. Well, after wearing her blouse, she kept crying for about, hmmm, five minutes?

Later last night, while we were brushing her teeth and daddy adjusting the bathroom lighting, BG held up her fist in front of her mouth pretending to hold a microphone and started saying “Iyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…..” She was pretending to participate in one of the party games where the kids were supposed to compete for the longest “Happy birthday Iya!”

She was so cute!

If you are following me on twitter, you probably know that I’ve been wanting to shop online for some things for the past few days now. Anyway, to compensate with the desire I went to the nearest mall tagging BG and yaya along with me. The mall is having a sale!

I bought some Minnie Mouse hair clips and pony holders for BG. I also bought some picture frames too for the grandparents. Ok, I did shop for other things not on my original list.

I’m hoping to receive some good news probably tomorrow or next week. (Note: Old Navy in-store sale Sept 26-28).

Geez, that’s it. After I read this Relacore reviews, I better go offline or I might just blow two weeks worth of extra earnings. Still, I’m watching closely if the “toys” on my list would be marked down. Who knows?

Needless to say, the tiny toys were all over the place.

BG’s new yaya recently celebrated her birthday. She told me she just turned 19! I earlier thought she’s 20 but honestly, I find her very mature. At first, you’d think she matured early because she had children at a very early age. But I was told that when her mother died, she had to take care of the youngest sibling who was just a baby then.

Like any mom, she likes talking about her kids. I wonder if she’d miss them soon enough that she’d want to go back to the province. U-oh!

She’s good enough helping around the house. Nothing exemplary but that’s alright. BG likes playing with her. Another good point. What I want to know if she’s good at taking care of BG. I still have yet to observe that.

Oh, I heard the ex-yaya is going back to the province on the 30th. What’s funny was, her press release there is that she’ll go back working for us again when she comes back in Manila. Geez, I wonder where she got that idea.

Oh well, that’s it for now. I need to pack some stuff in these self storages. I’ll just keep you posted if the ex-yaya makes it back here.

BG had so much fun this weekend. We went to Pansol with daddy for their team outing. At one in the afternoon, we decided to start swimming even if the others were still busy playing Bingo.

At first, BG was afraid to dip into the pool, but after a while, she was having fun and kept saying “Yehey!” At 4pm, I decided it was time for BG to get out of the water.

But came evening, people started jumping into the pool. BG watched and was smiling at them. They prodded her to swim again. She started asking me, “Wim? Wim?” I was hesitant because it was late. BG was about to jump, when everybody shouted in surprise. Good thing I was able to stop her. I laughed thinking that just earlier, BG was so scared that she didn’t even want to dip her toes in the water, but now, she was so eager that she wanted to dive!

Oh, she had a swim again early morning the next day! This time, I had to set the alarm to 9am just to make sure we don’t overstay under the sun.

I was able to take few photos only. With BG, I had my hands full. But no worries, I was sure BG had lots of photos taken by hubby’s teammates. I just didn’t bring any laptop or EHD to copy from their micro sd’s. I sure hope they’ll give us copies next week.

What a weekend!

Today, I had a foot spa and pedicure. I cherished every moment that my feet were soaked in warm water with delicious-smelling liquid soap. And then, my feet and legs were massaged with mint scrub. It was very relaxing.

When I got back home, I was busy with work so there were less twittering and no plurking. I needed to finish some things since I’ll be away for two days. It is aligned that I don’t work on weekends, anyway.

Since BG and I are coming with hubby on his team outing tomorrow, I prepared our things to bring including our swimsuits and pajamas. It got me sentimental. It used to be that I can pack BG’s baby clothes and my clothes into just one bag but now that she has grown up so much, her clothes occupies an entire bag. It won’t be long when she’d tell me she can pack her own clothes for an outing. Shucks. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to enjoy it while it lasts.

I just hope BG won’t get sunburned too much and get too dark.

If you notice, she didn’t say C! She calls the letter C “ookie”.
Why? “C is for cookie, that’s good enough for me. C is for cookie, that’s good enough for me. C is for cookie, that’s good enough for me. Oh! Cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C!”

There must be something wrong with the way I teach her. But I don’t want to worry myself with it. The acne might just start showing up again. I’m confident she’ll learn her ABC’s eventually.

BG’s yaya will arrive this Friday! Woohoo!

The 20-year old lady is a young mother of two and the cousin of the help. Plus, she is a close friend of my mom’s help. (Is the connection confusing?)

Advantages:
young – so it would be easy for me to ask her to do her tasks.
cousin of help – the help will surely monitor her and make sure she does her tasks well.
friend of mom’s help – so no worries when we bring her along to my parents’ house.

Worry:
mother of two – 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl. I just hope she’s trustworthy if you know what I mean. hubby and i always leave money lying around the place. to be honest, I have one ericsson mobile phone lying around here and I have no idea where exactly for a year now. hehehe.

Oh well, wish us luck!
