Review: French Baker Macarons

The French Baker’s Parisian Macarons come in 4 colors/flavors. Pink (raspberry), green (pistachio), brown (chocolate) and l. brown (mocha). What attracted me initially, of course is the price. Each piece only costs P36, the cheapest I’ve seen in the Metro so far.

What do I think? First, the filling is too thin. Second, I think the sweetness overpowers the supposed flavor. Third, the pink seems to taste like the green one. That, or I ate both next to the other too quickly.

So, will I buy again? Of course! With its price, why not! I’ll just make sure I have black coffee to drink next time I’ll have these macarons!
