This morning, I was busy doing a friendster overlay tutorial. When I came back, I have 8 spam messages about insurances and several herbal medicine. Not to mention, I felt so behind my twittermates. I had to scan 3 pages of twit updates.

Today, I am starting to feel that I’m getting the groove back. (Side Kwento: a friend asked me if I want anything. Fruits, veggies, or perhaps a soda. I replied with “I want my life back. Drama!” Hahaha)

Or is this just sugar rush?

This is my 7th overlay. This time, I did not include any video, flicker or MP3 player. Just the plain old about me box, chatbox, friends list box, photo album box and testi/comment box. I am still contemplating where to *hide* the “who-viewed-my-profile” tracker. I just thought it won’t really matter ‘coz my profile is set to private anyway.

i wanted to change my overlay using mikee’s bday pics.

this is what i got:

i didn’t use fluk, and my blog snip wasn’t working anymore. for this new overlay, i used 2 slides (one for my scrappages and another for party pics)

in my opinion, the previous overlay (in our formal wear with the sunset and all) is nicer than the new one. but i’d like to show how much Mikee has grown eh, plus i like to add her birthday pics (added 7 album links too)

i made my first friendster overlay when i just got married (2005). composed of navigation, about me box, video and chatbox.

the second one was when mikee was 6 weeks old. this one i’ve included na albums, flukiest, blogsnip, testi box and links to our wedding pix.

revised it a bit with a different pic header. with the same features as previous.

the third one i made early this year. same features, just in different color. used black/orange combination.

i revised it again with a diff pic header (the one i’m using now) using our “sunset” family picture. same features, same colors.

i plan to revise again sometime in july. pero simple lng. probably the same features din, just diff pix. maybe in diff color. bsta bday party pix ni mikee mostly ilagay ko
i use the same overlay for all my friendster accounts.
this way, anybody searching for me using my maiden name or my married name will be directed to the very same page! coolness!
now i see the overlay’s advantage. a (long-lost) close friend found me searching for my maiden name. had i not overlaid my profile, she’d add me up on that other account.
