Odor-free.

Odors are sometimes an unfortunate side effect of life, and people are often on the lookout for something to help relieve their space of unpleasant scents. It is particularly important for businesses to combat the odors that creep in and threaten to disrupt daily business. Odor Free’s selection of Odor Free ozone generators work great at creating ozone and oxidizing unwelcome odors wherever they are and whatever causes them. Some of the main odors that people have to ward off include some that are much more difficult to eliminate than others. Some of the biggest offenders include lingering pet smells, food odors, lingering smoke odors and the very distinct smell that is left over from mold. Odor Free ozone generators are powerful and environmentally friendly tools when customers deal with especially bad smells that make being in the home or business nearly unbearable. The generators are able to reach the odors at their source and remove the odors permanently. Odor Free ozone generators deliver a dose of ozone shock treatments to the affected areas and manage to obliterate the offending smells without causing any damage to the area where the smells lie. There are no chemicals or deodorizers used to mask the scent, so all that customers will experience after a treatment is fresh, clean air. Once customers choose between the Hotel 350, Suite 700 or Villa 1000 models, the process is simple when they turn the machines on and immediately vacate the space where the odors are left lingering.

Going organic.

More and more people are choosing to go organic whether for food, personal hygiene and cleaning products. And why not? Food not only tastes better, you know that you’re getting the nutrition from every bite sans the chemicals. (Organic food has longer shelf life too.) Even restaurants are becoming more aware of the advantages of using organic food.

As many of us are aware of, pesticides have been linked to cancer. Going organic reduces our risk of having cancer. That is a reason good enough to choose organic. Plus, we’re helping reduce the chemicals (pesticides) that go to our water resources. Organic agriculture protects both us humans and the environment.

I also can’t rave enough about organic shampoos and soaps. My skin feels smoother and healthier. My hair is shinier and healthier too. (And yes, I found organic toothpaste too.) So you can take care of your body inside and out.

And now you can go organic for your home too, such as upholstery, carpet and rug cleaning. Especially for us moms, we wouldn’t dare expose our family to harmful chemicals cleaning our house. We want safe and effective way of maintaining our house. The good news is now these services are offered at a very reasonable price.

Why Walnut Bathroom Furniture is so Popular.

Walnut is an excellent choice for traditional and modern bathroom furniture. Its durable hardwood is ideally suited to a range of different styles and functions. This popular natural resource can last a lifetime if cared for properly and is guaranteed to make a bold design statement.

Walnut is an incredibly strong wood, which holds its shape exceptionally well once carved. It is suited to both intricate and clean-line furniture and its solid texture makes it the ideal choice for bathroom cabinets or fittings. The durability of walnut ensures that it copes well with humidity and damp, which is obviously an important quality of bathroom furniture.

Designers and interior decorators tend to lean towards using walnut in bathroom fittings not only because of its long-lasting properties, but also because of the varied finishes the wood can display. The straight grain of walnut makes it an attractive wood and only a single coat of clear urethane is needed to protect and enhance its features. A wide choice of stains and veneers are also available, ensuring that your bathroom furniture can match your chosen palette and be an attractive addition to a room of any style.

Walnut’s versatility makes it a very popular choice for bathroom furniture as it is a high-quality wood that can display a variety of finishes. Designers have created a range of innovative furniture and fittings from this natural material and walnut bathroom furniture is a sought-after feature in many homes, hotels and businesses. Part of walnut’s appeal is that its natural colouring can differ from very light to a rich, dark brown. Just beneath the bark of the tree is the lighter wood that is often used in modern and streamlined bathroom furniture, whilst the middle of the tree produces the darker, more chocolate-coloured wood that is a favourite with decorators for classic or vintage-style bathrooms.

Walnut wood products may be slightly more expensive than some other bathroom furniture options, but there is no other natural material that offers the same solidity and satiny finish. Walnut furniture is typically very hardy and is resistant to wear and tear due to its thick grain and hard composition, making it the ideal medium for furniture that is exposed to different elements and daily use.

Walnut furniture or fittings can be added as a feature piece in a bathroom, or used throughout the room to create design continuity. The durability and diversity of this wood have seen it become a favourite medium for interior designers around the world. Walnut’s appeal is not limited to its functionality, as it can be carved and stained to suit any current trend or classical style, seamlessly fitting in with your bathroom requirements and creating a statement piece or a visually pleasing effect overall.

The popularity of walnut as a preferred choice for bathroom furniture is due to its easy to maintain, versatile and durable nature, making it an obvious choice for a quality finish.

Improve the look of your bathroom.

Our bathrooms can serve as retreat for most of us. Nothing beats a relaxing bath after a stressful day at work, or around the house. There are ways to improve the look of your bathroom, to make it look more relaxing.

1. Use shades of blue. Blue depicts the color of the ocean and the sky. It could remind us of a vacation in the Bahamas. You may also add accents that could contribute to your relaxation. Some opt to add sand in bottles, or boxes, seashells and the like to remind them of the beach.
2. Use tiles that will match the theme of your bathroom. Stone files can complete your Zen-inspired bathroom. While glass tiles can add to the contemporary look you want for your bathroom. Glasstilestore.com has a variety of tiles: glass, metal and stone tiles, among others. They offer free shipping and 365 day return policy.
3. Lighting contributes to the ambience as well. Don’t forget this important element, whether you prefer natural lighting or candle lighting.
4. Don’t just focus on how your bathroom looks. How it smells greatly contributes to your mood too. Use scented candles and/or scented soaps. Many prefer fresh scents over strong romantic ones.
5. Keep it clean.

Don’t be confined with the above tips. These are just some ideas that can help you get started decorating/designing your own relaxation haven.

Fixing the cabinet.

When I told hubby the cabinet door in the other room needs to be replaced soon, he told me that we need to buy a piano hinge for that door. I looked at him, checking if he heard me right, and if he’s sure of his reply (he could be busy thinking of something else). He looked at me, waiting for a question. Then he sensed my confusion, and explained that this type of hinge runs the entire length of the door, thus it’s sturdier. If only he knew that what I actually thought of was him suggesting we get a part from the piano to fix the cabinet.

Creative and budget-friendly ways to decorate your Christmas tree.

While shopping for your Christmas tree, you wonder how you can decorate yours as awesome as the Christmas trees you see in the stores. Ornaments after ornaments, you worry that you will exceed the budget you have set for your tree. Decorating your tree need not be expensive. Here are some of creative but budget-friendly ways to decorate your Christmas tree:

1. Hang old Christmas cards and/or gift cards. You wonder why you even keep them. Here is one cool excuse. Now is the best time to bring out those cards from previous years. Hang each to your tree, with the front page facing. The colorful cards will give that festive look you want. Plus, your friends and family members will be happy to see you’ve kept the cards they gave you.

2. Tie bows on your tree. All you need is two rolls of ribbons, preferably in red and green colors. Cut them, tie into bows, and you’re set! It’s the easiest way to accessorize your tree. Of course, you may add more colors if you want. The more colorful the tree, the more festive it looks.

3. Hang family photos. You may choose to hang either Christmas photos from previous years, or from the current year. Whatever theme you choose, this will be a sure hit to the family.

4. Wrap your tree in paper chains. Strapped for cash? No problem! Just create strings of paper chains from used Christmas wrappers, and wrap it around your tree!

5. Hang small gift boxes. Another creative way to use your old Christmas wrappers is to wrap small boxes, and hang them up the tree. Or, you can actually hang small presents that you will open one by one for each of the 12 days of Christmas.

6. Hang paper stars. Got kids in the family? Why don’t you give each kid some cut-out stars that they themselves can decorate? I’m sure they will be proud to see their works of art up in the Christmas tree.

Whatever you choose to decorate your tree, I’m sure your family will be happy and proud of the hard work you all have put in. So just relax and have fun decorating!

Neat ideas.

I am excited to move in to our new house mid next year. (But I’ll be honest, I was more excited last year when I was anticipating for it until they announced the major delay.) Still, I can’t help but plan for the big move. My pinterest albums are full of ideas for organization. I love the rev a shelf cabinet organizer for our kitchen, such as door storage and half moon pullouts among others.

We would definitely need these awesome ideas for organization and space optimization for our tiny but homey kitchen.

Replace Your Bath’s Outdated Hardware.

If it has been many years since you have updated your bathroom, it is time to take out that old, outdated hardware and replace it with newer, more decorative pieces. Not only does this make your bathroom more stylish, but it makes it a more useful room as well. Hand held shower heads make showering and bathing more convenient, and wall sconces and other lighting fixtures turn your bathroom into a brighter and more pleasant space. Many of these changes can be done on your own in a single day.

If you have a standard shower head that is not very adjustable, consider replacing it with a more flexible model. Hand held adjustable shower heads let you move the flow of water to any angle so that you can thoroughly rinse yourself in the morning. You can even find hand held massaging shower heads that provide a soothing pulse of water to relax your tense muscles. Look for a low-flow shower head that uses less water while still providing an enjoyable shower. If you do not get a lot of natural light in your bathroom, adding new wall lights and sconces can make the room feel brighter and more cheerful.

Keeping your hardware up-to-date is an important part of maintaining your bathroom. Not only does this make your bathroom more attractive, but it also avoids any problems that might be caused by older hardware, such as a leaky faucet or a clogged shower head. Make any needed changes to avoid having to make expensive repairs.

Thank you, Fairy Hobmother!

Woohoo! I’m so happy! We have just been visited by the Fairy Hobmother! For those of you wondering who Fairy Hobmother is, and why I’m so excited by his visit (yes, you read that right! “his” because he’s a guy fairy), let me introduce you to this awesome fairy who spreads joy and happiness across the blogosphere.

Fairy Hobmother came about when a baby in the UK laughed for the first time. Ok, wait, I made that up. Not really sure how he came about. I just saw many bloggers got so happy and excited by his visits to their blogs, and got me so curious. I left comments on those blogs to express my interest in meeting him too, and invited him to fly my way, making sure Fairy Hobmother will be able to track me if he decides to accept my invitation.

And today he flew in bearing a gift! Wait, before you get confused. It’s not the freezer that I’ve been asking my husband, but it’s also something I can use for the home. Thank you Fairy Hobmother for the early Christmas gift.

See? I told you fairies are real. So why don’t you leave a comment? Who knows, he’ll be sprinkling some fairy dusts your way too.

My master list.

As I make a mental list of all the things we own, things we plan to bring to our new house, and things we plan to dispose or donate, I realized we will need a lot of organization items such as shelves, containers and wire ties, among others.

Then I also realized I shouldn’t be doing a mental list, but rather list them down on my phone or journal. My mind has been cluttered for months now, I started using my journal and phone calendar often than I want to. But I think I’m coping. That is if, I didn’t forget to write it on my journal or calendar.
