Candyland party.

Last October 28th, we attended a party. My daughter had been looking forward to it. To my horror, she woke up with a sore eye. My husband was telling me to ask Mikee if she still wants to go to the party, I did, and she insisted we still go.

She just wore a pair of dark glasses. Good thing that one of the party’s many giveaways was eye glasses. Here she was with her friend Therese enjoying the photo booth.

Thanks to my kumare, Diane, for the above photo. Btw, I so love the hair salon. The work was awesome!

Thanks to Jojo Francisco for the following pictures!

Thanks Mai for having us! We had fun!

Fun party!

Last Sunday, we attended a great party to celebrate Byko’s 1st birthday. We are friends with his mom, and we’ve seen a lot of his photos, we know all his milestones. But it was our first time to personally meet him in the party.

When we got to the venue, we were asked by the guard what party we were going to, I told him we’re going to Byko’s party, he gave me a puzzled look. I almost forgot that it was just a nickname and I was in panic because I couldn’t remember Byko’s real name. Good thing I remember their surname. Whew.

As soon as we got to the party, Mikee went around to check the game booths. She opted to have bracelets done, glitter tattoo and hair glammed, rather than get toy money (to claim toys and other exciting prizes). Good thing, she got some toy money from the magic show.

While kids were busy with the magic show, parents were contented having our Starbucks mocha frappe, Potato Corner fries and FIC ice cream.

Oh, I also got to chat with friends.

It was so much fun. Not only that, we got home with these giveaways.

My personal favorites are the customized shirts and pillows.

Fun party indeed!

Active Fun – SM Annex is now open!

My daughter had a BLAST this morning playing at Active Fun, located at the 3rd level of SM North Edsa. At first, she didn’t like to go inside. I kept showing her the giant slides which I knew she’d love. Still, she refused.

After 30 minutes of watching the other kids, she realized she wants to join the fun. :D

And she’s back…

An hour and a half later, she didn’t want to leave!
Any kid would definitely enjoy this fun-filled place! Visit them now! ;)

More photos will be uploaded to my Facebook and Flickr soon. Stay tuned. ;)

Can’t Get Enough of Babies

Since I won’t be getting pregnant this year (we want to enjoy Hongkong!), I would just live vicariously through babies of friends. I have three mommy blogger friends who have babies under one year and they are such a joy to play with.

Right now, among our circle of friends, there is one who is expecting and we are excited for her maternity portraits this September. She told us she has saved a lot of things from her firstborn since all the baby equipment are still in good condition. So personalized baby gifts would be the best gift for her. Babynest.com has sentimental and personalized gifts for the parents’ new bundle of joy.

a trip to the zoo

Last Saturday, we went to Tagaytay Highlands. The meet-up time was 6am at SLEX. Yet, we were still chatting at 1am earlier the same day. You can actually safely assume that these mommies, including me slept for only 4 hours, more or less. :)

The reason for being so early was to make sure we have time to spend at the Animal Farm. Well, Mikee is never a fan of animals. I’d be surprised if she’d enjoy the zoo. But of course, I still keep trying. :)

Sharing some pics:

I was too afraid here, I wasn’t moving.

This is overlooking the ducks. Yes, Mikee wasn’t smiling but still, I’m glad she wasn’t whining.

Geez, there were plenty but this is the only shot we have. :P

This is the 6am group. Well except for Howell who took this picture.

TGIF!

Finally, it was my last day in driving school! Whew! Still, I’m not confident with my driving skills. If not for possible emergencies, I really wouldn’t enroll. I am so comfortable sitting on either the passenger or back seat. Oh, change, tsk, tsk. Hahaha.

Today is also the last day of summer playschool. Mikee and her playmates had a little “party”. Our little girl had so much fun in her playschool. She has improved especially in mingling with other kids. That, actually, will be put into test tomorrow.

Yes, tomorrow is another meet-up with the MBAP families at the Tagaytay Highlands. Planned activities include a visit to the petting zoo, daddies’ basketball game, afternoon swimming and a whole lot more. I’m definitely taking pictures.

I’m posting photos as soon as we get back. ;)
Happy weekend!

Happy Mother’s Day!

To all the mommies who regularly visit my blogs and who I forgot to greet via text message, Twitter or Facebook:

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

And to those looking for my blog on our coffee date with Apols at Conti’s and Tea & Therapy. Check my other blogs ok? :D

Or you can just check my photo albums at Facebook. ;)

i missed the MBAP photo booth session :’(

Wow, what a day! I have a lot to share but all I could think about is that I missed to have our photos taken at Jane’s party photo booth!!!

When we got there, we asked for our Starbucks mocha frappe. Yes, Starbucks in a kids’ party. Coolest huh? We asked Jane where her husband is, and told us he was busy chatting with his buddies probably about some franchise or business. No idea, really. Aggie, Joy and I lined up for food (again because we’ve eaten from the other party). I must say I love the salad! Yummy!

My husband was having a headache and I just thought since he was informed of the second party only after lunchtime, I should be fair and leave the second party right away. As Jane gave away the lootbags, I told her I needed to leave. (Girls, I sent an email.)

Aaaw, I can’t wait to see you again.

to dear MBAPs

Happy 1st Anniversary to us!!! :) :) :)

Do you still remember this video? Hihihi.

MBAP’s party

The reason why I haven’t been blogging about this was, I was waiting for the pictures to be uploaded so I can snag them. Thanks Abie and Joy!

Last Sunday, the mommy bloggers met up again, this time at Jane’s mansion. I had to comment on the house first. Hehe. I love it because I am so attracted to white interiors and the use of natural light coming in from the windows. Of course, my DD had fun at Sophie’s playroom especially with one toy laptop.

We had food catered by the CCME which was superb.

The kids exchanged gifts. I hope Sophia likes Mikee’s gift. Mikee gave her a Nemo coloring book, night light and (washable) tattoo. Mikee got wood toys (sorry, I don’t know how to name them haha) which she loves playing with these days especially the one where she can change the girl’s clothes and shoes. Hmm, I wonder why Mikee doesn’t like playing with Barbie but likes this toy so much. Thanks Jody for the toys! :)

Next is the super fun white elephant. Honestly, I was reluctant about this idea because I’ve expected that one gift would look unwanted. (Gosh, it happened as I have expected… Jane, ahem! Hahaha) Apple was our favorite target for this game. I think her gifts were grabbed thrice! And I still smile whenever I remember Mich apologizing to Apple while grabbing the Starbucks gift. :D My first choice were two nice pillows (we only buy these kinds pf pillows at the duty-free so I wonder where Jacqui bought those considering our agreed gift price), which was grabbed by Peachy, who I think still couldn’t get over the fact that Joy grabbed them from her. Lucky Joy! I got a nice Body Shop foot spa with gloves which I love too. I love Body Shop, as you know. ;)

Next was a game where the non-preggy moms will guess the circumference aka belly size of the 3 preggy moms. I won guessing Jane’s size. I chose the large Cheetos among other gifts simply because this is hubby’s fave. :P

We also gave the three preggy moms Jane, Mich and Peachy a nursing bib each from the Indigo Manila. I hope they like the gifts. :)
