My little girl will be in Senior Nursery this June. Sometimes, it amazes me how this girl who used to love staying snugly in my crossed arms, now enjoys going to school away from mommy. It wouldn’t be too long that she’d be taking those sat prep courses and be going away for college. You realized all you have is 18 years of education that she’d depend, lesser and lesser, on you. Sigh.

But as a mom, it is my duty to raise her to be independent. Hoping she’d be ready to face the world, with or without mommy.

My daughter had a BLAST this morning playing at Active Fun, located at the 3rd level of SM North Edsa. At first, she didn’t like to go inside. I kept showing her the giant slides which I knew she’d love. Still, she refused.

After 30 minutes of watching the other kids, she realized she wants to join the fun.

And she’s back…

An hour and a half later, she didn’t want to leave!
Any kid would definitely enjoy this fun-filled place! Visit them now!

How do you sort your daughter’s or son’s clothing? Well, since I live in a country where it either just rain or shine, I sort them twice a year. What I meant by sort is, I check if what clothes should I keep permanently, and which ones stay in the closet.

I still keep in her closet the clothes, even if out of season, that are still too big for her. But admittedly, I keep (in another storage) all her cute outfits when she was smaller. Even if I want a little brother for her, she might just have a little sister someday.

One time I was talking with another mother, the topic became what the other effects of pregnancy on a woman’s body are. Obviously, most women do not go back to their pre-pregnancy figure. But aside from that, we noticed that skin isn’t as elastic as before, and nails have started to show dryness. Of course, these are almost unnoticeable.

Yet, I can’t help but wonder how I would look like after the next pregnancy. Well, I’ll cross the bridge when I get there.

I haven’t been blogging much lately, and I am free every morning when the daughter is in school. So what I have been busy with?

Ok, when I was not in so much in the mood to surf or scrap while waiting inside the school, I talk to the nanny. This may sound like a waste of time but I’ve learned so much from our small talk. I now know how I could possibly make her stay working for us in a long time.

There was one time that I went home, turned the volume on and danced alone to Craig David’s Insomnia. It was fun, really. I kind of miss the rush.

I understand that the shot isn’t easily recognizable. My legs were supposed to be propped up so you could guess what I was doing here.

These are just some of the things that I want to do if I suddenly decides to quit my job. Fetch the kids from school, dance and pamper myself.
