Mikee’s first teacher is mommy

Mikee continues to learn more of her ABC’s adding to the letters that she knows that I listed here. There’s just one thing that I noticed. Since Mikee goes to Kindermusik, people thought Mikee learns her ABCs, numbers, shapes, colors and animals from there. I don’t want parents reading this blog to be misguided.

Kindermusik has taught Mikee
- how to sing along
- that she’s free to be expressive through dancing, tapping or running
- body parts
- things and action words around the house especially the kitchen.

You see, since Mikee has no regular playmates, we thought Kindermusik is a good venue to interact with other kids. We’re quite satisfied with it.

For the next semester, hubby and I are still undecided whether to continue with Kindermusik or enrol Mikee to a swimming class instead. Or perhaps another playschool like Gymboree which is nearer to our place.
