my blogs should be blue???

I was once told in order to balance out orange is to mix or match it with blue. Meaning, they are actually opposites in the color wheel. I really love the colors orange, (hot) pink and red. That’s the reason why I use these colors on my blogs and my scrap pages too.

Quite the opposite of the mood of my blog contents I guess.

Your Blog Should Be Blue

Your blog is a peaceful, calming force in the blogosphere.
You tend to avoid conflict – you’re more likely to share than rant.
From your social causes to cute pet photos, your life is a (mostly) open book.

orange you just glad? ^-^

Your Favorite Color Says You’re Cheerful

Joyful — Enthusiastic — Optimistic
Outgoing — Accepting — Confident
Loud — Unruly — Impulsive

a realist

I was intrigued by this particular test. I always thought I am a positive person, but I still get some comments that I am sometimes a pessimist.

Anyway, the result made it clear to me. ;)

You Are a Realist

You don’t see the glass as half empty or half full. You see what’s exactly in the glass.
You never try to make a bad situation seem better than it is…
But you also never sabotage any good things you have going on.
You are brutally honest in your assessments of situations – and this always seems to help you cope.

lovin’ the city life

As much as I dream of country-style houses, it looks like I’m geared for the city. Hmm, concept living within the city perhaps? :)

Btw, I love the fast-paced life. I sort of get impatient when people walk or talk slow. :P

You Are City

You prefer big lights and big dreams over the slow paced life of the country.
You crave excitement, and the city has many opportunities for you.

While you appreciate the peace and quiet of the country, it’s a little too quiet.
You need lots people, culture, and action to feel truly alive.

listening is the key

Ok, some of the results are true. That I love to converse with family and friends. But what isn’t true is that I can’t live without an iPod. In fact, that’s one gadget I could live without! I don’t mind not knowing the latest hits or the coolest music videos. I’m simply not a MUSIC person. ;)

You Communicate With Your Ears

You love conversations, both as a listener and a talker.
What people say is important to you, and you’re often most affected by words, not actions.
You love to hear complements from others. And when you’re upset, you often talk to yourself.
Music is very important to you. It’s difficult to find you without your iPod.

My Expression Number is 1

I must admit, I am attracted to articles related to Astrology, be it Chinese or Western. Then I also checked Numerology. And today, just for fun, I tried this:

Your Expression Number is 1

You have the skills to be a top executive or businessperson.
But first you must develop your natural capacity to be a good leader.
You are truly original – with a creative approach to life and a very sharp mind.

You reach for the sky, and you have the potential to reach it.
Assertive and straight forward, you have little need for supervision.
You are self-confident, self-reliant, and courageous in your convictions.

While you sometimes fear loneliness, you prefer to be left alone.
A bit self centered, you may be hard to life with at times.
You also have a strong dominant streak – which can push others away at times.

one fabulous tag

Thank you Jacqui for awarding me this. Now, I’m blushing. Hey, your blog (and of course YOU) are fabulous too! ;)

Rules:
List 5 addictions that I have and to pass the award/tag to 5 more fabulous blogs.

Here’s mine. In no particular order:
1. (Smell of) my husband and daughter – I love kissing them on the neck. Love hugging them too! I so love their company.
2. Pictures – taking pictures, being in pictures, viewing others’ shots. You get the er, uhm picture.
3. Tomatoes – tomato ketchup, tomato based pasta, tomato based pizza (Sbarro comes to mind first). The more sour it is, the better. And of course, I can eat rice and tomatoes with just some sprinkle of salt.
4. Twitter – this macroblogging site has become a little forum for me and fellow bloggers.
5. Chips with Coke – I just love the salty and sweet combo. I’ve been staying away from these for my low carb / low sugar diet.

I’d like to award this to Litz, Ate Jen, Mai, Kathy and Em.
