yes finally

I had been wanting to change theme for this blog for the longest time. But I read somewhere that it is advisable to stick to just one theme. So I thought I could change my theme but stick with my initial color combinations (orange and blue, but used grey instead of brown this time).

Btw, I used this same theme on berryscrappy and everydaychi too. :)

eye for color

I was browsing when I saw the HP Pavilion Artist Edition.

Did you see the design on top of the laptop? I realized that those colors were exactly what was on my mind for my (beachwear) theme.

And now, I can see that my colors are so many hues away!!!

Ooops!

Btw, I did not copy from that ad. Remember the launch of this HP Pavilion Artist Edition will be on March 28. I released my themes February 12. ;)

sleepy, sluggish and cranky

Finally, my processing has finished. It started at 3:45 pm yesterday and ended at 11:25am today. Don’t worry, I slept on it. I’m not that workaholic, you know.

But I monitored it as long as I could. I slept at 1am at least. While monitoring, I revised the links and archives page templates of the themes. Hence the version 1.02

Anyway, I am working from home today ‘coz I am so sleepy, sluggish and a bit cranky.

Oooh, just as I was writing this, I received an email telling me they don’t see the data that I just loaded. Guess what? I don’t care.

my lists, my reads

As per Joy’s advice, my blogroll isn’t site-wide anymore. I have put it on a separate page.

For those using my themes, just ‘Write Page’ then on the ‘Page Template’ drop-down list, choose Links. This will automatically create you a page with your blogroll on it. Hope that helps. ;)

this weekend…

SAT:

1am - I finally decided it’s time for me to have everything go live. working fine locally. better migrate everything online.

3am - still not yet finished FTPing my stuff. decided to leave it. slept

8am - woke up. geez, laptop was not plugged properly so it went off. checked if files were transmitted fine. ok, i see the texts, but no images. so i tested other themes, images are distorted. i asked my friend eric what i could have probably missed doing. was the css faulty? then i suspected must be the FTP that i used. so i downloaded FileZilla (I had to browse some forums to check which is the best free thing) and after FTPing the images again, I saw the images. So I must agree with the ones from the forum that it’s the best FTP. And it was so user-friendly!

9am - Eric asked me what resolution I was using when I programmed the themes. I said the smallest. he said the header occupies half his screen. so I started tweaking the themes. sheeesh, I had trouble with IE. I gave up temporarily and concentrated on my gallery. I want the pictures on my blog entries linked from my gallery (OC? hahaha).

7pm - our friend call asking what time our gimik was.

8pm - hubby and I went off to the gimik.

12mn - went home. <— tatanda na kasi eh.

SUNDAY:

morning: mass -> lunch out -> groceries/shopping

afternoon: slept

evening: my parent’s place.

evening evening: went home. started TRYING again to fix the ultra big header that would look ok both on IE and FF. (still contemplating what pictures to upload on my gallery)

evening evening morning: gave up temporarily. consider them version 1.0
