Nevada payday loan.

Barbara just accepted another position and put in two weeks’ notice on her job. She has just paid the mortgage, car payment and insurance, the utilities and bought groceries. Unfortunately, there will be one week between when she leaves her present job and she receives a paycheck from her new job. She’s going to need gas for the car, groceries for one week and school supplies for the kids. The credit cards are maxed out and the checking account is empty. Oops.

Barbara needs to check into Usacashservices.com offers Nevada Payday Loans. She can have a prepaid Visa card within an hour or she can have the funds she’ll need direct deposited. Repayment of the loan can be made at $10 per week for the life of the loan. If she needs to extend her loan, extensions are available. The company will work with her because they understand her need and want to help. Barbara will need paycheck stubs and bank account information for the company to give her the loan. The stores are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mountain Time Monday to Friday and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mountain Time. She can repay her loan at Usacashservices.com offers Nevada Payday Loans after work or pay it online. She may repay the loan early if she wishes. If Barbara finds she doesn’t need the loan after all, she can cancel within 24 hours of the loan agreement without further charge.

Surprise!

I knew our team have a birthday fund, and I knew that celebrants receive a birthday cake, and I knew that my teammates are aware of my birthday last month. BUT, I was so surprised when I received my birthday cake last Tuesday. Hahaha. You see, I forgot about the birthday fund, and my birthday was like ages ago, so this actually came as a surprise.

Please excuse the ngarag look. We were in the middle of a meeting when the cake arrived.

And yes, I was just so happy! Definitely included on my Project Life 2012 album. :)

Fun night.

We have 4 Chi-noys in the team so they decided to hold a moon cake dice game for us. The prizes were just snacks, trinkets and small stationery items. It was my first time to play it, and I’m not really familiar with the rules, so I wasn’t really expecting to win. Just the same, I joined in the fun, cheering for the best of luck. Well, at least I got lucky to win a necklace.

Working together.

We didn’t plan for it but husband and I ended up working under the same tower. We haven’t encountered any conflict so far, and I hope it stays that way. Still, I won’t advise other couples to work in the same tower, even in the same company. It has some little conveniences though. Going to the same coffee talks together, for example, saves us gas, gives us an opportunity to have our photos together when we’re all dressed up, and well, being able to capture important moments. I was able to take a clear photo of the moment his name was being flashed on the screen, while he was given his silver award on stage. I wouldn’t be able to do that if I weren’t on the same tower, right?

Sorry, I won’t be able to share this particular photo because the company logo was also captured. But here are some photos we had before the coffee talk.

At the lobby:

I got hungry, and we knew the program won’t be starting soon, so we decided to have something filling before going in.

Anyway, I wasn’t fortunate enough to have my name picked during the raffle. BUT, I was lucky enough to have a teammate who got his name picked, and is single and not interested on the raffle prize that he got: entrance tickets to Seri Fantasy World.

Background checks.

There’s a course elective that teaches how to create an effective resume. I think applicants nowadays have been very good in creating their resume’ that even if some “critical” information are not stated, they can remain unnoticed by the hiring manager. That or the applicant simply chose not to touch the topic or reveal complete details that would fail him.

However, employees have the option to have background checks for employment at easy background which offers tracking system and compliance tools, among others, to help hire the right candidate for the role.

Now, you can stop stalking your applicants on Facebook and Linked. Haha.

Coffee date.

I just moved to another role and tower in the company I’m working for. And last Monday was my first time to join the tower’s coffee talk (with “The Dark Knight Rises” film showing after). I knew that there will be some sort of contest. Being new in the tower, I wanted to participate just to make myself feel that I belong to this tower now. ;)

When they announced they’re giving away Starbucks GCs, all the more that I wanted to participate and win!
And we did!

Much to my sister’s delight.

There goes my excitement.

An officemate shared that I can download and use a licensed video editor from the company’s sharepoint. I got excited as I’ve been meaning to learn how to edit videos. He also gave me a vlc download link for my media player.

Unfortunately, when I tried installing the editor, it kept saying that a version is currently installed. I’m guessing somewhere in the script that if it finds an installed version, it would skip installation altogether.

Pffft!

my sketchbook.

I am not ashamed to admit that I had one of those vision boards even before I discovered about The Secret” book. Well, it’s not a board but a sketchbook which is about the size of an illustration board. The amazing (or is it freaky) thing about it is that I have this one page, supposedly about my career (I made this in the 90s) wherein there (were cut-outs from magazines which) were Fujitsu and HP ads among others. My only purpose then was to visualize myself working for a multinational IT company. There was nothing specific. I didn’t mention any specific role like Legacy System Programmer Jobs.

Little did I know that I’ll end up working for these 2 companies. The sketchbook is now hidden somewhere in my stash. I will check back on it this weekend to check on my future.

working from home

Being on maternity leave for 2 months, I have forgotten how to go about some of my tasks at work. Today, since I’m working from home, I knew I need to prepare few hours before my meeting starts. I usually lead most of my meetings and so, I’ve checked if I’m still good at conference call hosting. Plus, I was worried that the little boy would have tantrums during my meeting. But I have found a solution.

Alas, this kept him entertained for only 20 minutes. Good thing yaya and ate Mikee were there to play with him.

first day high

This is the first time I am away from my son. And I realized that no matter how much you prepared for this day, there will always something that will go wrong that you were not able to predict. Murphy’s law, right?

I have established a system for the yaya on the frozen bmilk, like when it should be thawed, when the thawed but unfinished bmilk should be disposed, etc, etc. Alas, I was told that my son did not want to feed from the bottle. :(

But I must admit, I sort of glad to see our workplace again. Yeah, duh?!

Update:
My son was able to finish 5 bottles when I was away. Whoa! And he didn’t want the bottle?!?!
