Just got an email from my aunt informing me that my stuff just arrived her place. I did some shopping recently which we will be using this summer. First is the Lascal buggy board which is to be attached, as the name implies, to a buggy. I’m hoping Mikee can use for our Singapore trip. Second, rash guards and swim trunks for infants, obviously for Theo for our Boracay trip.

To be honest, I browsed for cheap furniture stores in los angeles. I’ve been planning to buy some furniture for the kids’ room but it looks like we won’t be moving to the new house as early as planned/promised. So yes, that could wait. Besides, I want the stuff to arrive my place next month, I don’t think there’s enough time for me to do furniture shopping.

For now, just let me get excited for our upcoming trips. Woot woot!

My daughter would love to own a guitar, but when my brother tried to teach her some tricks. She smiled, refused and acted uninterested. She tried holding a violin (also from my brother) once or twice but my mom and I cringed on the music she produced. Of course, she’ll be needing some lessons but she refused when I offered and asked her if she wants to be enrolled to violin lessons.

And now, she was telling me her interest on the mandolin. Seems that my daughter has this fascination on string instruments but can’t quite decide yet which one to play.

I really hope she decides soon so we can enroll her to some lessons while she’s young.

…And I’m back!

Life has been very busy. The kids got sick, then the husband got sick when the kids got better. Then I got sick when the husband got better. And there’s work. Figuring out the best report designer that we should use.

But the good news is I managed to keep my sanity. I almost gave up blogging but why give up something you enjoy, right? I am no celebrity but I love sharing my thoughts on things and events that I had. I’m glad that most visitors to this blog find my posts about our out-of-the-country trips and party preparations very helpful. Oh trust me when I say I would love to share more! Cheers!

Christmas is for kids, they say. So I’m here again posting my daughter’s wishlist, which by the way, has changed about twice or thrice already.

1. Polly Pocket – any. I think they have stopped production as I see limited items even in the Mattel website. I saw only 2 designs at Toysrus and Toy kingdom. She just wants her “dolly” to have a friend.
2. Lalaloopsy (mini) – she’s not a fan of the big Lalaloopsy dolls but she wants the small ones with small things. There are many designs. Don’t be confined with what I shared in the photo above.
3. Barbie Princess Charm School doll (Blair) – yeah it has to be Blair.
4. Barbie Royal bed and bath (gold bag handle) – yup, there are others like this but she prefers the gold handle.
5. doll house – to be honest, I didn’t want this for her (which explains I didn’t take picture of it when we were at the store) as she has more than 3 already, but she still wants one.

Mikee’s school always end a semester with a program. And this semester’s no different. Looked to me that she was having a blast dancing to Coca Cola’s “It’s Christmastime” theme song.

After the program, we just opted to have lunch at a nearby Chinese restaurant: Causeway.

Not bad.

It’s Taguig day! So hubby and I have no work! Whew! A little break in the middle of the week. Perfect. So we went out with the kids to have pizza. Theo enjoyed too as he had some spaghetti noodles (no sauce though, sorry sweetie).

This would have been a perfect family photo but Mikee was too stubborn to look at the camera (phone).

But when she saw the game zone, I told her if she wants to play, she needed to look at the camera. Geez, I had to blackmail her just to get some decent shots of her when I know she’ll be using these photos when she gets into her teens and starts doing scrapbooks of her own. Tsk!

Mike’s aunt posted a message on Facebook asking for Mikee’s wishlist for Christmas. I honestly thought she was simply asking so she can send a gift. But after informing her of Mikee’s wish, she posted a link to a video message for Mikee from Santa!

And boy, how I wish I had captured Mikee’s surprise upon seeing the video. She really believes Santa thought she’s nice and she deserves the gift she wishes. (I did try another website and took a video but she wasn’t as surprised and excited as the first one)

My only advice is: TAKE A VIDEO TO CAPTURE YOUR CHILD’S REACTION. I’m sure it would be priceless!

It used to be that we put on our Christmas decors even before December but things had been very hectic. Well, at least, it’s still first week of the month.

Mikee helped out in decorating the Christmas tree but she specifically informed everyone that she’ll be the one to put the star on top of the tree.

So there! We now have a place to put all the gifts we receive which we will open on Christmas eve.

We always try to visit my parents’ place at least twice a month. And since today is a holiday, my siblings and I decided we meet there and visit. Unsurprisingly, there were men working on the house. Yeah, that’s my mom alright, always wanting to revamp the place. Nothing major though, just the gate, and the floor tiles in the garage, and the… works. You get the picture.

Anyway, I saw these in the garage, and took a picture (and posted at Instagram) to which my mom objected.

They aren’t finished yet, she complained. She’d be putting lights inside each house, and place them in a set-up that she hasn’t bought yet. OC much?

The little girl asked if she can bring this one home but I told her the set wouldn’t be complete without the toy store, and we’ll just buy our own village next Christmas.

As blogged before, Theo didn’t like the bottle. Didn’t I say, because he got used to it after several weeks. He has no problem now drinking his milk from the bottle when mommy’s not around. But if he notices that it’s not milk, that if it’s water, then that’s another story. He does not only push the bottle away, he spits out.

But after introducing him to banana, he had a change of heart. He loves drinking water! He’s even the one reaching for it.

And yeah, big hands huh?
